HOW WE CAME TO BE:

Black Business Alliance Peoria Chapter, Inc., was founded in September 2013. Individuals in Peoria believed that not enough was being done in Peoria to help fledgling African American businesses.  As a result not only have those businesses not come into existence, but the economic development of the African American community has suffered as a result.

OUR VISION:

The Black Business Alliance Peoria Chapter seeks to provide educational information regarding workforce and business development, and also facilitate networking opportunities for business owners and professionals.

OUR MISSION:

• Provide opportunities for business owners and professionals to network and develop an awareness of businesses and services within the community.
• Develop programs which foster business growth and development.
• Educate members regarding economic development opportunities.
• Create an economic power base for businesses to affect positive social and economic change.
• Develop an accessible base of information and expertise for members' use.
• Maintain an organizational structure and financial resources to achieve and sustain the vision.
